Summer Study Abroad at UHaifa International offers academic and language courses in July and August. These courses are designed for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as the general public with an interest in learning more about Israel, the Middle East, and our world in general. These courses bring together students and faculty from universities and colleges from all over the world. Some courses take place on our beautiful campus at the top of Mount Carmel, and some courses are offered online. Each course is custom designed and takes full advantage of Haifa’s unique academic, social, and urban environment.

Intensive Hebrew Programs

​The Summer Intensive Hebrew programs are designed for those who want to immerse themselves in an intensive language acquisition experience that is personally enriching as well as academically demanding. Instruction will be offered from beginners to advanced levels.

Summer Intensive Hebrew Online Course

The online beginners Hebrew course is designed for those who want to immerse themselves in a language acquisition experience that is personally enriching as well as academically demanding all from the comfort of your own home. The program focuses on strengthening all four major skills: writing, reading, speaking, and comprehension.

Haifa Through the Camera Lens

The course offers 8 sessions over the course of 3 weeks, allowing for extended and immersive photography workshops and comprehensive practical lessons. The final works will be showcased in a respectful and professional feedback session in which students will receive constructive critique on their projects.

Arab Israeli Relations
Embark on a journey through one of the most captivating and complex conflicts of modern times with the Arab-Israeli Relations summer online course. The course will deal with the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and executives in the Green Technology industry in its various aspects and segments (e.g., water technology, agricultural biotechnology, alternative energy, environmental sustainability etc.). Students will be exposed to the various critical issues involved in establishing and managing a successful venture in the field of clean technology. This course will provide you with a platform for understanding Israeli creativity, and help you to discover the entrepreneurial spirit that has built Israel’s worldwide reputation as the “Startup Nation”.
