All students above the age of 18 are welcome to study in the Intensive Hebrew Summer Ulpan, which is offered during the months of July and August. Students can participate in one or two of these sessions. Classes meet for five hours a day, five days a week. Hebrew is offered on all levels, ranging from elementary to advanced. Instruction includes a variety of activities such as student dialogues and presentations, sessions in the language laboratory, guest lectures, trips around campus to practice communication skills, and traditional textbook learning.
During the Intensive Hebrew Summer Ulpan, students will have the option of
participating in a variety of social activities, including tours and day trips throughout the country, cultural events, and celebrations.
Spoken Arabic
Intensive August program
I 5 Credits
The University of Haifa has the largest Arabic-speaking student population of all Israeli universities. This creates an ideal environment for students from abroad to practice their Arabic language skills.
All students above the age of 18 are welcome to study in the Spoken Arabic Intensive July course. Classes meet four days per week, five hours each day, and students can expect several hours of homework every day. One additional day per week will be devoted to field trips to various locations of interest in the Arab communities of northern Israel.
During the Spoken Arabic Intensive July course, students will have the option of participating in a variety of social activities, including tours and day trips throughout the country, cultural events, and celebrations.
