STUDENTSERVICES & Social Activities

Numerous events and activities take place on campus throughout the semesters, including weekly concerts, lectures, conferences, and sports competitions. Students at the International School are strongly encouraged to participate in these activities.
In addition to the academic component of all the programs offered, the International School prepares an extensive program of trips and tours led by professional tours guides that offer students an exciting view of Israel’s natural beauty and cultural sites. In addition, throughout the year the International School arranges lectures on various aspects of life in Israel, including politics, security, culture, religion and other topics of interest to students. Our Student Activity Coordinators live in the dormitories on campus and are available to address questions and requests from students at all times.

Volunteer program

While volunteering is not a requirement of students who study at the International School, we strongly encourage all students to participate. Volunteering allows the student to meet and develop close connections with Israelis and to understand more about many of the social problems affecting Israel. This experience also provides the student with an opportunity to leave their mark in Israel before returning to their home country. Transportation to volunteer placements within Haifa is the responsibility of the student.
