Situated on the top of the Mount Carmel with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, and nestled beside the Carmel National Forest, the University of Haifa provides an ideal setting for Study Abroad and Graduate Studies experience at the International School. The University of Haifa, established in 1972, is the leading university in Israel in the fields of social sciences, marine research, neurosciences, education and more.
It is home to 6 faculties, 10 schools and 57 research centers, and is the first institute of higher education in Israel to commit to focusing on the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The university’s faculty and student population is unique in its composition. We host an exciting and inspiring cultural mosaic of secular and religious Jews, Christian and Muslim Arabs, Druze, Bedouins and Circassians, new immigrants, native Israelis and a growing number of international students and staff from more than 90 countries. University of Haifa is also dedicated to improve students’ soft skills by introducing them to the concept of innovation and extra-curriculum courses, thus better preparing them for a dynamic job market and serve as a catalyst for innovation and economic growth.
